We are committed to protecting the planet. At MBS Logistics, a key focus is helping reduce the environmental footprint of our customers’ transports. We strive to partner with environmentally conscious carriers and offer sustainable solutions. Of course, we’re also making changes in our own operations – increasing energy efficiency in our facilities, embracing innovative technology and supporting climate action.

Process efficiency
We are dedicated to optimising processes to minimise unnecessary transports and energy consumption. This is an important lever for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. With an efficient transport and logistics network, modern facilities and IT systems as well as highly skilled employees, we drive sustainable solutions every step of the way. Our software solutions enable us to measure and optimise our logistics processes. We partner with Carboncare to efficiently calculate transport footprints, and our supply chain software allows customers to assess the overall impact of their supply chain through quarterly reports.
Energy efficiency
We prioritise energy efficiency by deploying energy-saving solutions and leveraging emission-free and low-emission technologies whenever possible. Our commitment to progress extends across our network, warehouses and offices as well as through our carrier partners who share our dedication to sustainable transport solutions. In our warehouse, for example, we utilise LED lights as well as battery-powered forklifts, and we continuously seek out the latest innovations in energy-saving technology.
Innovation
We support research and innovation for developing new technologies and concepts for emission-free logistics through our partnerships. Zero-emission vehicles are being trialled by several of our carrier partners in Germany. In addition, digitalisation and AI-supported process optimisation play an important role. To this end, we are exploring innovations that make the flow of goods and related processes more digital, efficient and sustainable.

The first step to decarbonise is measuring your footprint. In cooperation with Carboncare, we offer the option to calculate the emissions footprint of every transport. Our calculator technology is available for use for free to empower you to understand and mitigate your environmental impact.

The compensation is done via the website of the nonprofit organization myclimate.org on which you can find information and a variety of different projects.
