Alexandra began her journey with MBS Logistics in Hallbergmoos near Munich in 2015, where she helped establish the location from the ground up. Today, as a field sales representative, she actively pursues new clients, nurtures existing relationships and manages internal processes. In her role, Alexandra particularly enjoys the variety of tasks and the freedom to make independent decisions. No two days are the same. “I often travel to meet with current or potential clients. Additionally, I prepare quotes and collaborate with the operational departments,” she explains.

A passionate logistician

In sales, empathy, commitment and flexibility are key. “An open communication style is definitely an asset in my job,” Alexandra emphasises. Her attention to detail also plays a big part in her success. Her colleagues affectionately call her ‘Miss 125 Percent’ in recognition of her thorough and dedicated approach.

Outside of work, Alexandra brings determination and perseverance to mountain biking, stand-up paddleboarding and yoga. “These qualities help me professionally as well, pushing me to always give my best and tackle new challenges,” she says.

A passionate logistician

Alexandra entered the logistics industry in 2000, starting with an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding agent. She gained extensive experience in operational air and sea freight as well as inside sales. This background now helps her engage in meaningful conversations with customers and understand their specific needs.

The logistics industry continues to fascinate her. In particular, Alexandra is enthusiastic about the chance to communicate with people from around the world and constantly learn new things. “In my opinion, a career in our industry is ideal for people who are open-minded and receptive to new ideas. It’s important to understand the subject matter and have a strong grip on the various parts of logistics. You should also be able to work under pressure,” she notes.

When asked what drives her, she responds without hesitation: “It’s incredibly rewarding to win and satisfy a customer, regardless of the company’s size.
