At the beginning of January, Daniel Laugner started his new job as branch manager of MBS in Nuremberg “I couldn’t wait to start working for MBS.
So I did everything possible to be able to dedicate myself to this challenging task as quickly as possible,” says Daniel Laugner.
Born in Franconia, he is a trained industrial clerk and switched from industry to logistics after additional further training, including as a business administrator. “I know that this is rather unusual. Many choose the opposite path. But for me it was very coherent. It’s not just getting the shipment from A to B, it’s the fascination behind it, organising global supply chains, working with different cultures and people and organising logistics operations for the customer with different business partners and authorities and governments.”
Laugner has held various management positions in logistics companies. “My goal was very clear: I wanted to understand every area in the supply chain in detail. Therefore, my positions included Operations Manager, Head of Customs and most recently I was responsible for the global business development Sea/Air/Rail of a logistics company.” His goals are clear: “Expansion and sustainable growth! That’s what drives me every day.”
Daniel Laugner is looking forward to the new challenge at MBS Group. He looks beyond the end of his nose: “For me, the exchange with other branches is very important, as there are always synergies to be achieved in the individual areas. I also enjoy expanding the network with new agents, partners and service providers in the MBS world.” His employees are particularly important to him, as they represent success for him: “I want to offer my employees a secure job with the opportunity to develop. Motivation is in the foreground for me here, as motivated employees are the recipe for success of the MBS Group.”
We are happy about our new man in Nuremberg!
