MBS Group appoints Nico K. Pereira da Silva as Chief Information Officer (CIO)
The newly created CIO position consolidates IT responsibilities within the MBS Group, embedding digitalisation as a core pillar of the company’s strategy. A well-structured digital approach will enhance efficiency, transparency, and innovation – both internally and for customers.

In his role as CIO, Nico K. Pereira da Silva will drive the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud-based solutions into the company’s strategic roadmap. His focus will be on developing new digital business models that create long-term value, while intelligent data and process networking will play a crucial role in optimising efficiency across the entire supply chain.
With a strong background in developing and implementing IT solutions for the logistics industry, Nico K. Pereira da Silva brings a wealth of experience to the role. He most recently worked at Riege Software and previously held senior leadership roles at Air Maintenance GmbH and K&S Informatik (Switzerland) GmbH.
