Issue 02/2021
Dear friends of MBS,
The importance of e-commerce and supply chain issues has been demonstrated in recent months: Thanks to newly developed online tools and working from a home office, it was not only possible to maintain important supply chains even during the pandemic, but the business could be handled even more efficiently and flexibly in some cases through the use of digital solutions.
MBS Logistics recognised the signs of the times in good time and pushed ahead with digitalisation processes at various levels early on and with foresight. There has long been no lack of concrete examples on the topic of e-commerce and supply chain. One of them is the opening of the Chinese market through a trading platform involving various companies. What exactly this is all about and for whom unexpected opportunities arise from it can be read in the report on the Munich trade fair, in which our Managing Director Andreas Janetzko participated online with a presentation on the topic of e-commerce. In the context, we also learn why the resilience factor plays such a big role for a company today.
In addition, many other interesting articles await you: Among others, we present the company Dockers by Gerli as a spotlight in this issue. With Stacy Kohn from the MBS branch in Richmond, we present our fourth power woman, and at our long-standing business partner Moch-Figuren we get to take a look behind the fascinating backdrop of the fashion world.
Of course, there is also a lot of news in this issue. But take a look for yourself.
